Hi,

I have an access application linked to a MYSQL db. I have noticed that the mbd file is 13MB.

Does this mean that the data from the MYSQL server is cached locally on the PC where the access application is loaded?

I was hoping to allow users to be able to be able to work offline and then synchronize their changes when they reconnect similar to Outlook.

Any advice would be appreciated

Regards

No.
If you think that the size is too large, use Tools>Compact
to recover unused space.

You would need to copy data (using queries) into local tables to allow for offline working.
And if you have multiple users you have all the issues of how to control who chnages what.
