I have a user that is reporting a problem with his D135. He says about times a week while he is printing a job on his d135, it stops printing, all the LEDs come on, some of them flicker, and the display reads "Power down". He says that this happened one time with an incoming fax, but mostly happens when he is printing a job.
I asked him if he has noticed any other errors or notifications lately, and he said that the printer is warning that it needs new color print heads. I instructed him to replace the color print heads to eliminate this as a possibility. He says he does not print any color. Is there any possibility this could be related to this problem?
Are there any other things that I should have him look into, or is it time to bring to an HP shop? The erratic LEDs has me worried that it is some internal problem. He wasn't at his laptop and PC when he called, but when he is I'm going to have him run a diagnostic.
Thanks,
