OfficeConnect Managed Switch 9 Alert LED?

Hello:

When I started the 3Com OfficeConnect Managed switch 9 the Alert LED remains on and the unit becomes unresponsive. The switch passes all "Power-On Self tests (POST)". However, after the last test it says: <ERR> Runtime Loading Fail - System Halt.

Is there anyway I can fix this switch?

Any help would be appreciated.

Please discard this post. I solved the problem by hitting Ctrl+u to enter xmodem mode
