I get this error message when I try to open a document in word97," winword,this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."
This only happens when I click on file, open,
look in;
I can open an "My Documents" with no problem.
I have installed both sr-1, and sr-2 patches.
I have win98, and I have been using this program in bot 95 and 98 for seveal years with no problems until recently.
Any help would be appreciated. By the way I have a cirrus logic video card.
