Hi All,

Got Office XP SBE, and the voice recogniotion dictation box keeps appearing and asking me to train the system for my voice. (I did this once). I press the microphone button at the top office toolbar, and it goes away. But any ideas why it keeps appearing and how I can stop it appearing!?

Its annoying since it doesn't recognise anything I say anyway!

There is a service called sapiserv which you can endtask. However, it is not something you can uninstall. I think when the handwriting /microphone icon appears on the upper right of your screen, you may be able to right click it, go to properties and delete speech. Also, make sure you Mike is not plugged in.
