I need input on any "nightmares" people have had trying to access Office 97 files after upgrading to Office XP. I have only heard about Microsoft Access not being compatible with earlier versions, but I am sure there have been other problems. If it ain't broken, play with it till it breaks.

Office XP compatability

I, too, am interested in the compatibility between XP and 2000 and 97. My office has moved to 2000, and since I cannot buy the developer edition of 2000 anymore, I have gotten XP developer. If I keep Access in the 2000 mode (and not use any of the new items), how much of a compatibility problem will that be? Laura Velez, MCP
