It's been too long of a day to try to decipher a Microsoft EULA, and some preliminary searching didn't yield significant results, so maybe somebody has an answer at their fingertips!

I seem to recall reading that one copy of Office XP could be installed and activated simultaneously on a Desktop PC and a Laptop PC. Can anyone confirm and/or clarify?

TIA

Doh. I looked all over and found only this:

Q: How can I find out what a software license allows me to do with a specific product (Microsoft® SQL Server™, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows®, etc.)?

A: Each Microsoft product includes an End User License Agreement (EULA) text file. This file is displayed when installing the package and can also be located on the CD-ROM (file name "EULA.txt"). This document covers the product usage rights and privileges for the specific product. If you cannot find what you need on the EULA, please contact a licensing specialist at 1-800-426-9400 (select option 4).

Nice of them to let you know the licensing AFTER you've bought the product, huh? Brainbench MVP for Microsoft Word
