Office XP/2000 Developer and Excel

Hail,

We currently have a large Excel spreadsheet file that I'd like to be able to release as a runtime similar to the Access distributable runtime.
Has anyone had any experience with the new Office XP dev package to know if you can easily turn an excel sheet with formulas and code into a distributable runtime? Or will I need to rewrite it in Visual Basic and release it as a fully re-coded executable?
