Office Workers

Any other solutions available for Essential Edition that would act as Office worker or Receptionist. We have a customer who relies very little on voicemail so Essential and Embedded are the perfect fit. We have 6 people who field calls and use all 4 available Receptionist Licenses. We would like to add Office worker, but can't justify the upgrade to Preferred Edition. Basically looking for Call control from PC and Presence or Status of other extension. Is there anything available either on the IP Office or a third party application, that I don't know about?
