Office Update- PROPLUS.MSI

I have been trying to upgrade my Office XP installation by installing SP-1. However, the install is unable to find the following file- PROPLUS.MSI.

I have the original install CD's but this file is nowhere to be found.

MSI is just a package that installs all required files to your system.

I understand that this file has something to do with the original installation.

The SP-1 update appears to be searching for this file before proceding with the update, and it cannot find it on my system, or on any of the original install CD's...

You don't have a 2 different pro versions...do you?
I have 2 at work, one with frontpage and one without.
The msi files are named differently so you can't
use each of them for other installs.

That's it!!

I have two versions of Office. PROPLUS.MSI is the install file for the version WITH Frontpage. PRORET.MSI is the install file for the version WITHOUT Frontpage.

...DUH
