Yikes! After many years of supporing WordPerfect in a legal environment (and MS Word when necessary) my office manager announced that we are considering moving to MS Office! I believe the REAL problem is a training issue. ALL users should regularly publish to PDF for sending documents for review, edit in Word when their clients send them Word documents, and (with WP12) work in Word mode *if necessary*. I am presenting a demo of WP12 soon and will make the argument that switching to Word will cause disruption in the office and require us to change our docement management system. The Word/WP problem may go away with version 12.
Any other ideas? Has anyone else faced this problem? How did you resolve it?
