We have an Office sharepoint 2007 server that has it's data in a remote sql 2005 server.
I don't have any sites in it other than what is created by default (i.e. the admin site, and a portal site).
I've created a full backup to a share on a windows 2003 server using the central admin page, and decided to test it by restoring the backup.
When I restore the backup, using the "same configuration" I get a restore status of:
"Completed with errors and warnings, please refer to the log file for details."
All of the restore history is fine other than the "wss_content" section, where it lists the message:
"Object MOSS_WSS_Content failed in event OnPostRestore. For more information, see the error log located in the backup directory. SqlNullValueException: Data is Null. This method or property cannot be called on Null values."
Does anyone have any idea or pointers on what the problem/issue is?
Incidently, if I try to use stsadm to restore it, I get the message "URI formats are not supported."
Regards
Carl
