Office programs automatically close after opening

Hello,

I am having a problem that I'm sure is software related, but can't seem to narrow down the problem. Everytime I open an Office program (Word, Excel, Access, etc) and try to open a file the program will automatically close. I have recently updated the Novell Client on my PC to 4.83, but I haven't been able to find any other postings on the Internet with people having similar problems. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Hi!

try logging on as an Administrator, if the problem goes away, then the profile is corrupted. All you need to do is rename or delete the profile, shut down and then restart.

you may want to check that the riched20.dll is corrupt, normally you have instances of this if you are uing a hacked version of office using a serial number of gc6 bla bla bla which is banned from microsoft & having installd sr1a onto. Check to see if ou have been invaded by viruses. Do a search on
