We have an issue with Communicator not installing properly. Everytime the
user tries to launch Communicator, he gets - “Cannot start Communicator until
setup is complete. Restart your computer to complete setup, and then start
Communicator”
No number of reboots, or uninstall/reinstalls, correct the problem. Any ideas
on what could be hanging this up?
The user is running Windows XP Pro SP2 with Windows Installer 3.1. He was
recently upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007; however, he was
experiencing the issue with Communicator prior to this upgrade. The user (I just found out) has the Office 2007 Comaptibility Pack installed. We will be removing this shortly.
