I'm asking this question on behalf of my brother - we are a little confused as to what to do when he is trying to share files with the server at work.
He dials up the server at work and then clicks on
"Tools - Synchronize - All folders". (Does "All Folders" mean inbox, calendar, notes, journal, everything??)
Because he wants to make sure that his email and other private items are not shared so does he set up a Public folder, select it and then chooose "Synchronize - This Folder"?
How does he set up a public folder? I can't see where to select it in the menus (and File-Folder-Add to Public Folders is dimmed on my PC).
Also he can send and receive email via the work server but he wants to do this without anyone at work seeing or having access to his email. I suggested he get his own free dial-up account and get yahoo mail or hotmail or whatever and use that as his address instead. Is this the best way to go? Thanks for any help - much appreciated!
