Office 97 and Lotus Notes

I am installing Office 97 on a Windows NT 4 Server. The server is our Lotus Notes Server and it is running version 4.6.3. After I install a minimal version of Office on the server, and I try to open up Access it gives me the following error: msaccess.exe is an invalid Windows NT application. All the other programs work (word, excel,etc.). I have gone to Microsoft's site and looked there for some help but I could find anything. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
