Office 2K SP2 without security patch

I want to install Office 2K SP2 but I do not want the security patch which stops downloads of exe, etc. Is it possible? If not, are there registry keys I can edit to allow back the features taken out with the security patch portion of SP2?

I have no idea about removing the "feature" that stops these files, but you can always bypass it by having senders zip the files before they send them if you know the users well enough to point this out ahead of time. Otherwise, I am willing to gamble that sp2a or sp3 will allow the customization of this option. Good luck
