office 2k on XP? 1

Yes Office 2000 will work on XP. I never had any problems with 2000 after I installed XP Pro. I eventually upgraded to Office XP. The only difference is that office XP, using Outlook, will block certain attachments unless you modify the registry settings.
If you are using office 2000 you need not worry about that.
If you are using office 2000 you need not worry about that.

Actually SP2 for Office 2000 does the same thing.
