Office 2016 Error dynamic-link library

I just installed Office Professional 2016 and when I try and open code in Access get this message:

Microsoft Access is unable to load the Visual Basic for Applications dynamic-link library (dll) Vbe7

Also, tried to open add-in manager and get:

The wizard you've requested is not installed or is in a bad state. Please install or reinstall the wizard.

This is a brand new (just downloaded and installed) installation of Office. tried the "Quick Fix" and the OnLine Fix.....neither helped.

Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

Apparently you are the only person with this issue reading your posts.

Do you get this error when opening any Access file? Have you checked the References in VBA?

This is often the symptom of a corrupt database.

This is a brand new, never used, install of Office 2016. Anyway, I got an answer from someone in another forum to try opening Access with "Run as Administrator" and that seemed to work. So obviously there is some kind of permissions issues.


dhookom, that is exactly what the problem is. I can't get the VBA open because of this error.
