Hi,

I need to execute the command DSRM inorder to delete computer on a server Active Directory on Windows 2008.
My user is Domain Admin, i'm loged on the AD server but i can't execute the DSRM command.

How should i configure my user and what right should i have in order to execute the command ?

Cheers

It has to be run from an elevated command prompt. Even if you are logged in as a Domain Admin, you still need to run the CMD.EXE instance with admin privileges. To open an elevated command prompt, click Start, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

You should then be able to run DSRM.

If that doesn't do the trick then you can look at the full documentation here:

If you're still having problems then you should post the error message that you are receiving when you try to run the command.

Thanks for your answer.
Is it possible to open an elevated command prompt directly with a shortcut without having to right and select run as administrator ?
