I have just replaced my motherboard and everything has gone according to plan apart from two minor details: Microsoft Office 2007 icons have all gone blank (although they still work if they are double clicked)and the 'remove' button from the Add/Remove program has disappeared. Now this means I can't uninstall Office 2007 and try to reinstall it, although I don't think I have any more install 'lives' left with the software anyway, and there doesn't seem to be a Repair option with Office 2007. I have gone through the Diagnose option and it didn't find anything but I assume this is a registry problem in some form or another.
Has anyone got any ideas of how I can get Office 2007 back to full working order?

Hi Nikwak,

Wrong forum, but you'll find the repair tool for Word under 'Word Options'|'Resurces'. Equivalent path for other Office 2007 Apps.

Cheers
