Office 2003 Word Performance

Greetings all;

Here is my issue, we are running a citrix environment. Whenever a client opens an exsisting word document the response is awful with the application always being about 15 - 20 characters behind. However when using an new document the problem does not exsist.
I have disabled antivirus and anything else that could be causing the issue. The kicker is that even when connected locally on the server I still get the delayed response of the application in the exsisting document....

Am I missing anything....any help will be greatly appreciated.

Are you opening the document as an email attachment, or directly from disk?
