Hi,
I've looked all through tek-tips for this answer, but did not see it, so I'll post my issue. my apologies if someone has already addressed this:
Print preview for any office program ( word, excel, access ) is almost always the opposite of what has been specified in page setup. If Page setup says 'landscape', then print preview shows up Portrait.
When the documents are physically printed, they usually print using the orientation specified in page setup, but 1 out of 10 documents will come out with the opposite orientation.
This issue does not seem to be printer specific, as I've tested it on Konica Bizhub's and HP laserjet 5100's.
I've completely removed all print drivers from the machines that are known to have this issue, rebooted and then reinstalled printers, but the problem persists.
There are users who have not experienced this at all, and thier OS and office versions are identical to the computers having the issue.
I manage patches with WSUS, so I know everyeone is getting the same updates.
My brain is numb, so I'm going to stop wasting my time for the moment and get a sanity check from you fine ladies and gents.
THanks a million.
