Office 2003 - language issues

I have a user that uses word editor in Outlook 2003 - when they send messages to people the receiver gets prompted to download Japanese when they open the e-mail. I believe that something is set up with in word causing this but I am unable to find what. I am unable to view the language tools due to a custom install of office and then when I select it in add/remove programs - I can't find it anywhere

Something like this harder to solve for someone like me because I don't use Outlook.

Anyway, In Outlook look under Options; Mail Format; International Settings; Fonts and check to see if there is stuff selected that doesn't belong.

On the Word side make sure that under Tools, Options, Complex scripts, nothing is selected.

Then under Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, Language tab, make sure nothing is selected under Supplemental Language Support.
