We have a growing problem with Office 2003 installs. A little background first...we work in a very large enterprise environment. We were provided, by our headquarters, a copy of Office 2003, with transforms, to use from a network share to perform clean installs. These are fresh installs versus upgrades. The computers we are loading this on are WinXP SP 1.
Here is the problem...after the install is complete (along with all of the other applicable software) the Office 10 folder comes back. We cannot have this folder in the Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared becuase of "security reasons."
Does anyone know why this folder keeps coming back and how to stop it from reinstalling? If any other info is required, please let me know! TIA!
