I have an user whereby her outlook will hang whenever she tries to access the address book. The address book contains the global address book on the iMail Server. This only happens after she created a new Outlook Data file. Multiple copies of the local Contacts and the Global Address book are created. I have also realised that there is a long list when she click under Show Names From The:, in the Address Book. Are these two issues related? How do I clean up the list?

Thanks to all for any suggestions.

This may be of some assistance, in case you have not seen it or don't remember it.

If you add a distribution list to an email message, and then click the plus sign to show all names, you should get this message from outlook:
If you expand the list, Outlook will replace the list with its members. You will not be able to collapse it again.

And then the option to "Please do not show me this dialog again."

So, if it's a really large list, then the problem could be related to settings in her local pst file for such lists, if she ever checked that box when expanding a list, particularly if it were a large list. At least, that's just one possibility, I think.
