Office 2003 - compatibility

Hi,

A MS representative/salesperson has told me Office 2003 will work on Windows 98 despite the MS website saying otherwise. He said they just don't advertise it.

Has anyone heard of it working on Windows 98 or tried it? (before I fork out)

The only inference I could find is that even if Word 2003 will run on Win98, it will not be supported by Microsoft.

I decided to try it and put the disk in a Win98SE machine on the bench. I got a message that it required a newer version of Windows and went no further.
