Office 2000/Windows 2000 Pro errors

There is no error message if no applications are loaded. also no error with non-office software.

This error message comes up when excel or word is loaded, then windows shut down: winword.exe - application error 0x1000465e referenced memory at 0x1000465e. The memory cannot be "read". it is the same message for excel.

with explorer it is the same message, except the numbers are 0x017d465e, interested that the last part of the number is the same.
