We had a administrative installation share point for Office 2000 & upgraded several workstations to Office XP. Because of leftover registry references to the share point, the Windows Installer keeps coming up asking for Office 2000.
We have removed all references to Office 2000 in registry, and solved the problem, but now when we ran MS Outlook Mobile Manager, it not only requested Office 2000 files from the Sharepoint, but filled the registry with references again to this share point. Says we don't have valid email profile, when Outlook XP is working just fine.
We have tried uninstalling completely Mobile Manager, but it always references the Share Point upon reinstall.
How do we tell get Mobile Manager to work with XP?
Thanks, Fred Gaston
