Which do you recommend ? i have databases shared by clients using office 97, will these databases be converted with no problems if i choose to upgrade?
thank you

2003 is a much better product then 2000. 2000 had major profile problems if your users move around alot. Plus lots of sp's and patches.

Access 97 does not like newer versions of the database.
I recommend you convert programs but not tables. Leave your tables in a 97 database and link them. 2003 can read and use the table but if you try to open it it will want to convert it. So you will need to keep a copy of 97 on hand for maintenace.

Thank you Mike, so basically, if i want my users to carry on adding to their databases then i cannot upgrade to 2003?
thanks again

Hold on... but 2003 is backwards compatible so your 97 dbs should not require any immediate upgrade.
