office 2000 on windows xp 1

I installed Access 2000 on Windows XP. When I open a
second form, the first form leaves a ghost image on the
display for about 1 minute and then it clears. Can anyone
help?

Its probably the setting to fade windows in and out as they are opened and closed. I can't remeber where to change this but I'm sure its under the display settings somewhere.

I've not come across this before, but you could try this in your Forms' On Activate event:

Me.Repaint
