I'm currently trying to do a Office 2000 install, I have selected All run from my PC, however every now and then like for eg I go online and read a online doc it installs that feature, I'm requested for the CD which I have to place in the drive, it does its thing and I can carry on till next time. Anyone have any suggestions? as to why this is happening I have reinstalled Office 2000 numerous times, still same problem.

Help!!

I believe that there is a function for you to ACTIVATE PRODUCT. You should be able to find this by going to START-PROGRAMS-MICROSOFT OFFICE TOOLS-ACTIVATE PRODUCT.

You do not have to activate office 2000, microsoft only did this for office xp. I am not quite sure of the answer to your problem though.

Do you use any sort of garbage cleaner on this PC? - If so it may be deleting a file that is necessary for OFFICE to continue. There are some files in C:\WINDOWS\APPLICATION DATA\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\*.* that should not be deleted.
