Office 2000: Hyperlinks open in Outlook Express instead of Outlook

Hello,
I am having trouble with hyperlinks. When a mailto: hyperlink is embedded in a document, it opens up Outlook Express instead of Outlook. Outlook is set up as my default mail program. I can't find any settings in Word, Outlook, or Outlook Express to change this. Has anyone else encountered this?

Open a folder, and click Tools/Folder Options
Click on File Types
Find and click url:mailto
Click on advanced
Click Edit
Find the Outlook Program
(usually c:\program files\microsoft office\office11\outlook.exe)

Apply as normal

-c IPM.Note /m "%1"
after outlook.exe
