I am stuck on this one... I hope someone can help.
I have a fresh administrative install of Office 2000 Pro. (I:\Office 2000\ and I have the SR-1 data1.msp in I:\)
I would like to update the admin install to SR-1 and then to SP3. Everytime I try to run the command line executable I get an Windows Installer error that states "Incorrect Command Line Parameter" I have read all the docs and even copied and pasted the command and it still says the same thing.
msiexec /a i:\office 2000\Data1.msi /p i:\data1.msp SHORTFILENAMES=1
I have also found a doc that read....
msiexec /p i:\data1.msp /a i:\office 2000\data1.msi SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb
Please help me figure this out...
