This is my first go at placing an administrative installation point on the server. I have placed the office CD on the server and shared it out. At the command line I browse to the CD and use the following: E:\setup.exe /a data1.msi.

The install wizard pops up and says it's preparing the install and after a few minutes it says the install is complete. It doesn't prompt me for company name, etc.....am i missing someting?

Thanks

Nope. That's just how it's done.

Now, go grab the Office 2000 Resource Kit off their web site & use the custom installation wozard to make your *.mst file. Wgen your done, it'll give you the command line to type from your workstations. Something like: setup.exe TRANSFORMS="C:\OFPRODSK\New Custom Setup File.MST" /qn+

It's pretty cool when you get it to work.
