i'm working w/ a mics 5.0 and NAM 4.0 on two t1's. i'm trying to set up off premise messages notification, and to this point i have not been able to get it working. i've set up the phone number to call, and the times, and turned it on, but still no luck...any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

While you were setting this up did you assign it to a line or line pool? Thats the only thing that you did not mention.

how do i assign a line or a line pool...do you mean in vm manager...under outdial? yes i did. is there somewhere else i'm missing?

So you gave it access to the outside and you know that the route out works. If you can leave a message in the mail box and monitor the lines out to see if the VM accesses the route out. If not type Back

i got it to work...it was my fault, i gave it line pool access, and then made it dial a 9 before the rest of the number, and that wasn't neccesary. i just put in the destination number w/o any other digits and it worked perfectly...even got the outbound transfer working too. Thanks
