Is is possible to configure off premise calling on this system/software release? If it is, do I need any special hardware and what is required to configure it? Thanks!

Kevin

This is the situation. I would like to have our directors dial our head office from their cell phone or home, grab a trunk that has overseas access and call out so these calls would be billed to the company. Is this possible on this system? Thanks for the quick reply!

Yes look at DISA in the book I don't have it in front of me right now. sorry

You have to have DTMF Receiver modules available to the system. the book calls for DISA to get this out of an E&M card but the COMBO card is supposed to supply DTMF Receivers for the T1 Channels.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.

You will need a back door line. A specific line that will only be used for this purpose.

PoolA: Y - If pool A is the one they are using for outside lines, then just leave it alone. If they use a different pool then press next to the appropriate pool and set it to Yes.
Header to LinePool access - Next

We he calls the back door number he will hear stutter dial tone, he will enter his password and then get 'system' dial tone, he will then dial his regular line pool access code for his regular lines and dial out.

Someone check me on this programming before I copy it to a cheat sheet. [hairpull2]

MRoberts, Thanks bunches for that set of instructions. Can't wait to give it a try. Just to be sure ... I connect this back door line to a regular LS/DS trunk port correct?

I have followed the instructions to the letter and it works ... kinda. I dial in enter the code and dial out however after I hang up the backdoor line remains "in use" for a long time .. 3-5 minutes! Thought it might have been a dodgy trunk card so I ordered a new one but same thing happens. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Verify your programming for your backdoor line. Disconnect supervision maybe an issue. Verify the port on your LS/Ds card is the right one for your line.
