Off Hook Tone - Users not placing in Cradle Correctly

We just installed an IP406 Office Version 3.1 with 5420 digital handsets and I'm having trouble with users not placing the handsets correctly so that their phone is off hook. On our previous system the phone would beep when left off hook is there a way to make IP office do the same so the user could be alerted?

I usually flip the wall mount hook around even though the phone isn't wall mounted. this forces the user to hang up properly.

i also do that
if you touch the cord the phone is off hook
but warn the customer not to pull hard on the handset otherwise the phone ends up in there face
