Hi,

We are having an issue when transferring calls.

Someone calls in, the person who answers needs to transfer the call to someone else so they hit transfer, they lookup the number to transfer too but before they have had time to enter the number they receive the fast busy tone. To complete the transfer from this state they have to end the transfer call and resume the original call and hit transfer again then type the number they looked up.

This doesn't give a very professional impression to the caller going on and off hold and is quite annoying for the phone operator

This post "New call timer" on Cisco's website seems to solve the problem by changing the amount of time the user has to dial the number before receiving the fast busy tone.

Anyone know what the CLI command is in CME? I have tried to do a sh run all to see if there is some default that has a similar name but cannot see it.

I thought another option might be to set a outgoing call and transfer call patterns and then change the inter digit time-out to 30 seconds but this would only work if the user entered a number and not if there is no entry (while the number if being looked up)....

I would think this is quite a common issue?? and seems to be easily fixed in CUCM but I cannot find any reference to how this can be done in CME...
