Running ARCserve 2000 SP3 on Windows 2000. I have ARCserve clients that run the client agent, OFA and SQL agent all for ARCserve 2000 SP3. These are all clean installs of the agents not upgrades. In the windows system log I have a OFA warning event id 48. The warning is "Backup agent for open files has detected that ARCserveIT is not installed and will not write to ARCserveIT's log file". I do not have ARCserveIT installed on these clients, never has been. Is there a setting in the OFA that will stop this message from appearing in my windows sysetm log. All agents are licensed. According to CA support I would have remove and reinstall the agents. Since these are clean installs I'm not really sure what that would accomplish.
