hello,
i work with a 3800 hipath system , i connected two ip phones openstage 40 and 60 to the system, there are successfully detected by the hipath manager ( the ip address, netmask, gateway, terminal number are configured) but when i try to exchange a calls between them it shows actually impossible what can be the problem?

In this situation, the phone's display actually states "NOT POSSIBLE" rather than "IMPOSSIBLE"! This message is typically the result of a serious misconfiguration. Perhaps if you could post all of the station config here - someone might be able to identify the problem(s). Good luck!

If you go into the assistant and bring up the phone, look at the BASIC 2 tab. On the right side (I think) if these are HFA phones you should see the IP address the system sees for the PHONE (this has nothing to do with the address you programmed into the phone for the gateway, and assumes you have the phone set for DHCP). If there is no IP address there the system does not recognize the phone. If it is a SIP phone the IP address will be way over on the SIP Station tab....

That will at least tell you if the system can see the phone (versus the phone being able to see the system).

Look at the licence. Did you activate any licences for the hg1500 card. The newier cards have no base licences and you need 2 min to work
