Anyone heard of this? I've found a couple of references on Google, but no cure. If you remove it, Windows (98) won't boot up. Any ideas?

Using scanreg /restore to an earlier date an option?

This is on a friends computer, the folder was installed 12/27/2004. Restore only goes back to 02/28/05.

Urggh.
I know that in addition to the obvious, oemji has entries in the Common Files folder.

Also, you should also do a registry search and blow out any of it's keys found.

I think I got rid of it (old copy of McAffee "Uninstaller", then delete all files and sub-directories, and used a register cleaner to find "orphans". Now, I'm cleaning the damage it caused. Norton SystemWorks locking up, and some functions (control panel, ccApp), take 1-2 minutes to respond. I'm doing a defrag now, then I'll reinstall Norton wnen I'm done. I'll report back later.
