When OE 'Receiving list of messages from server,' and at the same time 'Checking for new messages on ISP,' it refers, not to new messages, only, but to a much larger number, of previous messages (currently 65 and climbing by a few more each day), which it processes, in my view needlessly, taking time, and holding me up. Is this behaviour normal, and if not, what if anything can be done to correct it?
