OE pop Settings

Hi, my brothers Outlook Express server settings keep changing from:
POP - pop.broadband.rogers.com to 127.0.0.1 after each reboot which prevents him from using his email. He then changes it back and everything is fine until he reboots.
Are there any settings in his MacAfee firewall settings that could be causing this?
Is there any significance to 127.0.0.1?

Your brother is using McAfee's firewall - what's he using for antivirus? The antivirus program is causing it - either PC-Cillin or Norton. Disable the e-mail scanning component of the antivirus software, and you should be all set. For another recent discussion, see thread605-831435.
