OE not receiving messages al messages

I set up a new email address in OE for someone. Everything is set correctly but there are various (random) senders whose messages will not arrive.
I sent 5 test messages from my machine from 5 different addresses (domains) and only one arrived in her inbox. Some had attachments and some didn't. I have checked with her ISP and all is working on their end.
OE is set to not block attachments so I really haven't got a clue as to why this is happening.
Any assistance would help

Did the ISP get all the messages? Does the ISP offer webmail you could check?

I just brought the computer back to the office. I shall set it up and let you know.
 
I find that some of my mail was going into a junk mail folder on the server and subsequently not being downloaded.
When I called Sympatico (ISP) they had me log on to webmail through hotmail.com and indicated that the setting was arbitrary and that if I wanted to set it to low any "junk mail" other than "obvious junk mail" (or its interpretation thereof) would be allowed through.
While there is no setting to turn it off completely I don't understand (and the tech couldnt explain) why the ISP should be allowed to filter the mail at all.
Maybe I should be searching for a new ISP...

I would welcome comments on this matter
