OE conf. email with PO in subject field

I want to have the PO# in the subject field on my order confirmation emails, Can I do this?

I am using Accpac advantage 5.3a on windows2000 OS.

From what i can see it should start with $.
Does this email setup pull from OE or AR?
What should come after $, Is it the fieldname?
In the body of the email I have $Customer_contact and that works.
