OE BOM

Hi All,

Is there a way as when returning a material from OE that has a BOM to return the components only.

e.g When selling a case of soda where the main item is soda and the components are the case and empty bottle which have a different value,and the customer returns only the components.

You can return the component items individually, just not through the BOM.

On a related issue when entering an order on OE when selecting an item that is a BOM can the BOM number auto generate in the next field of BOM number instead of picking it again.

It can't "auto generate", but you can set one as a default.

Where do you set up the default, and is it a default per item or a general default for all items.

It's a default per BOM.

On the BOM screen, it's a checkbox.

Am not seeing it the only check box in the BOM screen is the inactive check box

Oops, you're right, I was thinking about Kits, they have defaults. BOMS don't, so you'll have to do programming on the OE screen to fix it.
