I dual boot SE and XP with OE shared mail folders
in a logical drive.. after a post vacation lengthy
mail download, Outlook Express was unresponsive in
both.. restoring a prior image(Drive Image 2003)of
the logical drive cured the problem in SE.. restoring
a prior image of XPC:\ had no effect.. no error
message, just "failed to respond" after showing the
inoperative OE screen with my folders.. full
anti virus scan with updated AVG showed nothing..
removed OE in XPregistry and re-installed, but no
effect.. Spy Bot and AdAware show nothing.. any
suggestions appreciated..
