Hi, we are running 4 clients using MS Outlook Express 6.0, fully up to date. All can send/receive the same mailbox.
Our email server software is qmail 1.22
All is OK, except that when a peice of SPAM comes in with the datestamp 1/1/1970. Well, this is what the date is if I veiw the email box through webmail anyway.
The trouble is, that when three of the clients get to one of these messages, the receive fails. If the message is deleted from the server, all is well again.
This seems to be a client issue, as one of the clients, (exactly the same version of OE) has no problem and can receive the strange emails, although the date seems to be different when it arrives in the inbox.
I can't for the life of me find what setting in OE is the problem, I seem to have gone through everything, comparing the working client to the others, but can't see anything.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Aaron
