OE 5 does not resolve name to email address

Am using OE5 under Windows 98.

After entering "New Contact" in address book, I even click "Set as Default".

But, when typing the name in the To: fields on a new msg, and clicking "Send", the error "No matches Found" comes up.

The only way I can send msgs is to type the actual email address for everybody.

Any ideas?

Your Address book (*.wab) may be shared with another mail application like Outlook if you have this installed as well.

See if this works for you.
1. In Outlook Express, click Addresses on the toolbar.

2. On the Tools menu, click Options , and then click Do not share information among Microsoft Outlook and other applications. Address book data will be stored in an Address Book (*.wab) file .

3. Close the address book, and then restart Outlook Express. joegz
